# Outcome or output?

Paste one Key Result from your OKRs. You get a verdict, the tell that placed it, and a corrected spec you can paste back into your doc. Under a minute, no account, no lecture. [What we believe about outcomes](https://outcomery.com/beliefs) has its own page.

We keep what you paste, not who pasted it, to improve the tool and to publish anonymous stats about KRs. Leave out company and people names; the verdict doesn't need them.

Inspecting means you accept the [terms](https://outcomery.com/terms) and the [privacy notice](https://outcomery.com/privacy).

The truck's loaded. Paste a KR and we'll make the delivery.

## Asked at the bench

**What does the bench do?**

It places one Key Result on four positions: output, output in disguise, weak outcome, true outcome. Then it names the tell and writes the corrected spec, or tells you when no stamp fits. An AI agent writes the verdict, so it can be wrong.

**Outcome or output: what is the difference?**

An output is what your team ships. An outcome is what people outside the team do differently because of it, in a way that is worth something to the business. A Key Result is an output if the team could call it done just by finishing its own work.

**Is it free?**

Yes, and no account. One Key Result at a time, up to 1,200 characters.

**How do I write a better one myself?**

Five steps and four worked examples, on one page: [How to write a product outcome, not an output](https://outcomery.com/guide).
